Ben and Bob had a fantastic time representing Heim Brothers Custom at KCEDC Ag Career Days, sharing their knowledge and passion for agriculture with middle school students from across the county. It was an exciting opportunity to introduce students to cutting-edge spraying drone technology, showing them how innovation is shaping the future of farming.

Ag Career Days, hosted by the Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation (KCEDC), is a hands-on event designed to help students explore careers in agriculture — everything from cheese-making and animal care to agronomy, horticulture, and ag technology. This year, nearly 900 students from Algoma, Denmark, Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, and Southern Door school districts attended.

Agriculture has a huge impact in Kewaunee County, generating over $80 million annually, with $65 million from dairy alone. More than 2,300 local jobs are directly tied to agriculture, making events like these essential in helping the next generation understand both the opportunities and importance of this industry.

We’re incredibly grateful to Ebert Enterprises for hosting such a smooth and impactful event — and to the amazing volunteers who helped make it all possible. 🌾👏

At Heim Brothers Custom and Heim’s Hillcrest Dairy, we’re proud to inspire future ag leaders and share in building a strong future for farming. The passion and curiosity of these students remind us that the future of agriculture is bright!
